After an initial consultation, together we will agree upon the most appropriate way to achieve your goals in as short a time as possible. Therefore, any or all of the below services could form part of your health4ni personal plan.

Personal Training

At Home

I offer an at home personal training service. I will bring all the necessary equipment such as a bench, weights, skipping rope, boxing equipment etc in order to perform the training. Due to my expertise in the strength & conditioning field I am able to make use of such portable equipment with great results. Furthermore, if the weather is good and the outside environment permits, outdoor training such as sprinting may be performed.

Nutritional considerations can be discussed and dietary plans offered, which will massively complement your new training plan. Do not underestimate the importance of good nutrition especially when partaking in physical exercise.

Group training sessions can be arranged.

At A Gym

I am currently a personal trainer at the Esporta Health Club Belfast, by the Holywood Exchange.

These sessions will typically involve either the use of resistance equipment in the gym or various High-Intensity Interval Training techniques or even both. The latter can be performed on rowing machines, bikes, with skipping ropes, punch bags, outdoor sprints etc.

Using these training principles together with the most efficient exercises appropriate for your desired goals, you'll receive the very best exercise programmes personalised for you.

A Unique Lifestyle Service called 'BioHealth'

BioHealth is a novel concept in the field of functional medicine and exercise science. The theory is that where people store their body fat is an indication of their hormonal profile. As such I am able to create a blueprint of your own 'Biological Health'.

For example, the thickness of one's umbilical skin fold (your belly) is a direct reflection of one's cortisol output. It is a direct reflection of one's stress levels and your ability to handle it.

The relationship between the levels of hormones such as insulin, cortisol, thyroid, growth hormone, androgens and oestrogens, and their corresponding body fat skin fold sites are assessed.

Once I have established your own BioHealth I will be able to offer a lifestyle plan tailored to your needs, so to be able to modulate the fat storage patterns to enhance healthy body composition... without even stepping into a gym!

That's right, the BioHealth service does not require any physical activity and as such the service can even be provided at your home.

It will vastly improve your 'internal workings' so that all the good food you eat is efficiently utilised by your body. Simply doing that can help solve many problems and kick-start fat loss. BioHealth can also help alleviate many medical conditions.

Health Coaching

Health coaching can incorporate a number of different services such as:

Nutritional education

  • For example: diet plans; what is good fat and what is bad fat; safe and legal supplements to use if you're an elite athlete or simply very dedicated to training; and many other nutritional subjects.

Food shopping

  • Accompanying you on your supermarket shopping trip to help you understand what the food labels really mean. Making you more informed to give you, and your family, the very best nourishing diet.

A chat

  • Simply have a chat with me where you get to ask all the questions about any fitness and nutritional queries you have.

Fitness Assessment

I can perform an upper body strength assessment that will allow me to accurately establish how 'structurally balanced' you are. That is, are your 'small' muscles adequately strong enough to support your 'large' muscles.

"Why do this?" Well, for sports people and those keen to improve their strength and thus achieve the body they've always wanted, such a test is extremely useful. It will identify any weaknesses and allow me to orientate your training plan accordingly. You will then achieve your desired training goals faster. This will also help prevent injuries and increase sports performance.

The more balanced your body is the more weight you can lift and the faster you will become stronger, leaner & healthier. Remember: you are only as strong as your weakest link.
